Rules of the Game by Neil Strauss

Written by Johnny Wolf

Topics: Secrets

The first book…the bible of pick up, changed the world for a lot of people. The Game was beautifully written by a world class writer for the New York Times and Rolling Stone. The book was on New York Time’s best seller list for an entire month, and reached Amazon.com’s #1 list as soon as it was released in the USA. The Game, featured Neil Strauss’ transformation from a nerdy writer that was horrible with women and needed a makeover, to Style, the world’s greatest pick up artist. With the help of Mystery and others he had some really exciting adventures along the way.

The Rules of the Game, is the followup to The Game. It comes in a beautiful leather bound, two part set including two books. The White book is the methods book, where Neil Strauss totally rewrites the Style Life Challenge.

The Black book is entitled The Style Diaries, and includes lost stories during the Project Hollywood days and other misadventures. I personally loved reading about Style’s life, traveling as a pick up artist and I enjoyed it when he hooked up, or totally messed up and ended up with a funny story. Well, this one is totally filled with the funny stories that were too embarassing, or too much of a DLV to put into the game.

If you enjoyed reading The Game, you’ll enjoy reading The Rules of the Game as well. The book won’t be released until December 18th, 2007, but you can pre-order it for a heavy discount through Amazon.com now.

By the way, I’m pretty sure I’m the first to have seen the book and write a review on The Rules of The Game. I’m sure it’ll be another top seller when it is released, good job Style!

  1. Yeah, Neil Strauss sounds like a slippery character, but I see why he’s so good with women. I’ve met guys who actually look like him when they talk, they get really animated and smile alot, they’re just bursting with energy, but not spastic or hyper, just sort of gushing with energy.

There’s a part in The Game where Lisa tells Neil she would have liked him before all the pickup stuff, but that’s not the point: before the Pickup stuff Neil was so strange and visually disastrous, and had no self-confidence, so the real him didn’t even have a chance. Congrats to Neil for being the ‘normal guy’ at Project Hollywood, and hopefully outside of PH as well ;).

Testimonals:

"By the end of the night I was on fire and talked to almost every chick in the club. I’ve isolated and kiss closed for the first time ever in da club." -Derek (Sydney, Australia)

"The ABC’s of attraction model is easy to learn, and effective. Whatever AA I had left was crushed by Johnny, Ozzie, and APB. They push you to the limit. I couldn’t ask for better instructors. This bootcamp is worth every penny." -Marc (San Diego, CA)

"Body Language Positioning - OMG, kick ass shit. I felt like I had an edge over all the guys at the club, simply because I knew this stuff. In summary, this bootcamp was worth every penny. I’ve always had a hard time putting all the material that I learned together and never had a clear direction. With this, I’ve learned so much and I can finally say I’m on the right path." -mustangx218, San Francisco

"Johnny Wolf is like a brother I never had. He genuinely wants to help and has the analytical skills and practical skills to point out weaknesses and provide solutions to overcome them. I’ve gotten lots of advice from close friends and family, people I really trust, but Johnny’s advice is more practical, understandable, suited to my ability and mindset." P., 38, Orange County

"The bootcamp was not easy. It was work, sometimes really tough and emotionally draining work. And was it worth it? Yes. If I could go back and decide to do it all over again, would I? In a heartbeat" -Dougie B., Los Angeles

Thanks for changing my life…!!! i wanna take out time to let you know how i m so full of gratitude for all that you have done for me the last 2 days… i must let you know that you are a great instructor and i couldn't have learnt from anyone better than you!" -Rana, India
