Johnny’s First Night out in London
Hey guys, I just arrived in London last night, and was totally jetlagged, but today…we had an awesome day.
I slept in till about 2:30pm which is actually pretty good, since it’s really 7:30am Los Angeles time and headed out with AFC Adam Lyons, whom I’m staying with. He had an interview fro Maxim Magazine UK, and we walked around the streets photographing him doing live demos. They had him open a girl walking on the street, one in an office building while she was working, and a model sitting in a pub. A total of 6 sets…which he got 6 phone numbers from. The Maxim guys were in awe.
After a couple rounds of us playing Magic: The Gathering which he is really good at btw, we went to the hottest wednesday night club in London, China White.
We went in entourage style and had six girls waiting for us at the front door, which allowed us to walk straight in, by-passing the line and for free. If anyone reading this ISN’T practicing Meta-Game and building up a huge social circle of girls and bringing pivots to the club, you need to start…this is
the future of pick up, and the future is now.

What isn’t the future of pick up, is what we call Pick Up 1.0…which includes magic tricks…and yes, of course there was a guy there tonight doing magic tricks. He was actually pretty good, and had a lot of props..which also means, he wastes a lot of time learning tricks instead of actually gaming. He spends about half an hour entertaining one of the girls I was then with, (who I met through social proof and the entourage) while his wing, sits down and tries to run game on another girl in the group. I leaned back nonchalantly and watched him do a card trick…followed by having flames come out of his wallet upon opening, then lighting his hand on fire and throwing it to the other palm. All very cool tricks and very entertaining…but what I think guys are still failing to realize is that being entertaining doesn’t get you laid. I think he might have realized it when he tried to bounce the girls and they responded to him, “Sorry, but we gotta go! We’re taking Johnny back to his friends house”
I felt bad for him, so I gave him a business card and wrote on the back: “Magic tricks are dead…”
A bit of Chinese food later, the four girls and I arrived here back at Adam’s apartment. And the story goes on, I’ll keep you guys updated on my journey to the UK.
