10 days of Silence – Immersion through Meditation

Written by Johnny Wolf

Hey guys, I’m getting ready to embark on the hardest journey of my life. Hardest than pick up, harder than anything I’ve ever had to do.

Ten days of Silence. Tens days of shutting off my monkey brain. Ten days of no sex, for being a better man for the rest of my life.

It’s called a Meditation Retreat. Where for ten days, I learn how to stop thinking, and just be. Honestly, this is my biggest weakness and biggest strength in life at the same time. I think too damn much. It would be easier for me to be dropped off in the middle of the ghetto wearing nothing but “I hate negros” t-shirt or even in the middle of the jungle like on Lost than it will be for me to not talk, and not think for ten days. Ten days of vegetarian food, nothing to eat after noon or at night, a wooden pillow, no reading, writing, talking or even thinking. Oh my Buddah this is going to be difficult.

But I know this is something that I need. This is something that if I can make it through, will change my life for the rest of my life. So see you guys in twelve days, and wish me good luck.

2. intend not to take away what is not given (abstain from stealing)
3. intend to keep one’s mind and one’s body free from any sexual activity
4. intend not to harm others by speech
5. intend not to harm one’s consciousness with substances that intoxicate and lead to carelessness (no alcohol, no drugs, no smoking etc)
6. intend not to eat between after noon and before dawn
7. intend not to dance, sing, play or listen to music, watch shows, wear
garlands, ornaments and beautify oneself with perfumes and cosmetics
8. intend not to sleep or sit on luxurious beds and seats.

This is the moral code for those who seek normalcy plus lightness and simplicity in living.

Warm Regards,

Johnny Wolf

Johnny sound awesome man. Ive been doing yoga and meditation for a while now always before each dive as well. Let me know how it goes sounds like you will learn a ton about yourself after these 10 days

  2. Casual says:

Sounds crazy. Good luck with that!

  3. Crestani says:

Nice stuff. Peace of mind is the most worthwhile quality to seek over in Thailand, too many distractions in the states. Have fun with that, I read your other post about wanting to start working out more, goto kohphangan and start Muay Thai training; its inexpensive and a worthwhile commitment.

    +1
Vipassana – yea its profound experience! I actually researched the sexual precept – it goes like this in daily life – good sexual conduct is when sex is through mutual love and affection between the partners. Great advice! Meditators and Johnny Wolf dont get LMR!!

Testimonals:

"By the end of the night I was on fire and talked to almost every chick in the club. I’ve isolated and kiss closed for the first time ever in da club." -Derek (Sydney, Australia)

"The ABC’s of attraction model is easy to learn, and effective. Whatever AA I had left was crushed by Johnny, Ozzie, and APB. They push you to the limit. I couldn’t ask for better instructors. This bootcamp is worth every penny." -Marc (San Diego, CA)

"Body Language Positioning - OMG, kick ass shit. I felt like I had an edge over all the guys at the club, simply because I knew this stuff. In summary, this bootcamp was worth every penny. I’ve always had a hard time putting all the material that I learned together and never had a clear direction. With this, I’ve learned so much and I can finally say I’m on the right path." -mustangx218, San Francisco

"Johnny Wolf is like a brother I never had. He genuinely wants to help and has the analytical skills and practical skills to point out weaknesses and provide solutions to overcome them. I’ve gotten lots of advice from close friends and family, people I really trust, but Johnny’s advice is more practical, understandable, suited to my ability and mindset." P., 38, Orange County

"The bootcamp was not easy. It was work, sometimes really tough and emotionally draining work. And was it worth it? Yes. If I could go back and decide to do it all over again, would I? In a heartbeat" -Dougie B., Los Angeles

Thanks for changing my life…!!! i wanna take out time to let you know how i m so full of gratitude for all that you have done for me the last 2 days… i must let you know that you are a great instructor and i couldn't have learnt from anyone better than you!" -Rana, India
