I’ve never been a believer in one night stands. If anything I hate them. It feels like such a waste. If you’re going to hook up with someone, why only do it once? For the amount of time, energy and stress both guys and girls go through to have sex the first time, it’s almost stupid to just do it once.
Why guys do it:
Guys have one night stands because of their egos, a lot of guys I’ve come across think that if they have sex with a girl and take her power, or conquer her, he’s the man and gets a boost in his ego.
Why girls do it:
Girls will sometimes have one night stands because they’re afraid you’ll become needy or too attached.
One night Stands vs. More Night Stands:
What’s better than one night of sex is multiple nights of sex and possibly some type of relationship. Friend’s with Benefits is excellent for those who don’t want to be a serious relationship. But honestly, if you haven’t had a long term girlfriend in the past two years, or you’ve never dated a girl for more than 7 months, maybe you should look into it.
My Current Relationship:
I’ve been dating a Scandinavian girl for the last three months now and tomorrow we’re going on vacation together. It’s seriously something that I didn’t even realize I missed. I’m still meeting new girls all the time but trust me, having a girl that really cares about you beats fucking some random drunk chick every time.
