Why Asians play Starcraft 2 instead of getting laid.

Here’s something you probably don’t want to hear. Have you ever asked yourself, “Why do I want to play StarCraft2?”

Sure it’s fun, but so is fucking hot girls. But the reason why playing Starcraft is more appealing to Asian guys is because it gives us a lot of the same temporary feelings of accomplishment and sport but without any of the hurt, sweat or tears.

Video games is the Asian man’s sport. And we have our parents to blame. I know my parents didn’t want me getting hurt playing a real sport, so instead they let me have a Nintendo. I also knew that I couldn’t stand a chance beating most guys in a real sport, but I’d challenge anyone to a fight on Street Fighter and kick their ass.

Starcraft 2 is the same thing – It’s a temporary feeling of accomplishment, sport, and bragging rights if we get good enough.

But instead of leveling yourself up in a virtual game, you might as well learn pick up and level yourself up in real life. The best part about it is that if you put down Starcraft 2 after a few years, you’ll have nothing to show for the hundreds or thousands of hours you put into it. But if you put hundreds of hours into learning pick up and self development like I did, and walk away from pick up like I did, you’ll still have all of those level up points that you can use towards you career, friendships and enjoying life.

PUAs and striving pick up artists, i’m not telling you not to play starcraft 2, I’m just asking you that you realize that every 10 hours you put into playing that game, you could have leveled yourself up for real and got yourself a hot girl in real life, or at the very least, leveled yourself up IRL.

  1. Preach on, brutha!

Video games give people a false sense of achievement and accomplishment. They can give themselves a fake pat on the back for having accomplished nothing and feel good about it.

Unfortunately, they’ll one day wake up, look around, and see that they’ve wasted away the best part of their lives on something that provides neither meaningful accomplishments nor lasting results.

Interesting. I didn’t know about the concern of asian parents leading to video-gaming kids. Makes sense, though.

As for pick-up skills (or any real-life skills, really) ditching video-games and TV completely has helped me immensely in that regard.

    Games forever fuck yea

  4. Asian Dreamer says:

The more I read this the more it makes sense, its so true that the reason why asian are so good at video games is because traditionalistic asian families don’t want their children to get hurt or try to prevent them from getting hurt, so they shelter them from any dangerous environment. So for example, for me instead of going to a public school as a child i went to private catholic school and you guess it all-boys school.

but whatever, I will just need to change that lifestyle and actively go and pick up girls and experience different ways and try to find my own PUA style. I am the kind of person who like to learn themselves and experience different technique myself. This is not a personality change but a lifestyle change.

    Your soon to be PUA,

Video games are fun every once in a while but I agree that they only serve as a temporary distraction without any long-lasting result. I’d rather brag about the chicks I’ve banged than the games I’ve passed. :)

  7. Nicklass says:

yeah, finally its out, ive been waiting for this game for yeeears

  8. Greg says:

meh, tbh, i have done both to quite an extent, pickup game, online games, and physical and sports competition, and it’s whatever floats your boat. Do what makes you happy and have fun. Arnold found lifting weights better than sex, pro-gamers in Korea make millions a year, have rockstar status.

As long as you got a social life of some kind, it’s good. Compare an evening out: getting prepped, dealing with traffic, parking, waiting in line, shelling out 50-$100+ a night, clubs may be overpacked, music might suck, girls may have STDs, may even suck in bed… seriously makes you wonder why we put up with that shit at all. It’s true, one magical evening makes it all worth it, but yea, i’d say the quiet life has its merits.
