Diablo 3 – Will it ruin my life or get me laid?

Well, it probably won’t get you laid, but you don’t have to have it ruin your life either. It’s perfectly healthy to play computer games once in a while, and it’s a great way to save money for bigger plans and gives you something to do in between gym sessions if you time it correctly.

I know a lot of PUAs say, never ever play video games, it will ruin your life. And they are right to a point. If you play 14 hours a day, it will. But here’s the game plan.

Using games as a reward for self improvement:

For me I don’t let myself play games until after I’ve gone to the gym. I bought a custom gaming laptop from Xotic PC and a copy of both Skyrim and Starcraft 2 with me to my Muay Thai Training Camp. I’d wake up early, do a two hour class of either Muay Thai, MMA, or go for a run. I’d come back, eat a quick but healthy meal, and then give myself 3 hours of gaming time. My muscles were recovering with good food, and I wasn’t eating junk while watching TV, or going out spending money.

Incorporating it with your social life:

Instead of going out on dates, I’d invite girls over to my house where I’d cook for them, bake cookies, or I’d just have them meet at my place and we’d go have tea or yogurt close by. While waiting for them at home, I’d just play some games and that way if they’re late or flake, oh well. I don’t stress over it. Just make sure you keep a good calendar, so you are going out meeting new girls at least twice a week and following up within 48 hours of meeting them.

Life, lifestyle, pickup, and enjoying yourself is all about balance, there is no reason why you can’t have it all. Plus Diablo III looks like it’s going to be SICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKk. I’ve been waiting for over 10 years for this came to come out. Now I just need to decide which character I’m going to be. I used to love the Necromancer so maybe the Witch Doctor, but then again the Monk and Demon Hunter sound sick.

What are your plans when it comes to the release of Diablo III? You playing or skipping out?

    Hey Johnny!

Diablo III does look pretty sick, but I think I’ll pass on it for now. As much as I love video games, I prefer going outside and having my own adventures.

Although after a long day at the aquarium feeding sharks, or getting back from observing kelp forests – it is nice to sit down and play some Mass Effect :)

    Best,

    Johnny,

how did you learn how to cook?

  3. Johnny Wolf says:

For me it was watching my mom and trial an error. Then I took a 1 day cooking class somewhere just for fun and it actually helped a lot. Give that a shot as a starter.
